In years 9, 10 and 11, the syllabus for each academic subject is closely planned in accordance with the National Curriculum and with the requirements of GCSE.

In Maths they start working towards their first GCSE module which will be taken at the end of Year 10 in addition to starting the GCSE statistics course which they will also take in the summer term of year 10. In Leckby pupils make an informed choice about their GCSE options through careers guidance.

Optional subjects include: Additional Science, French, Spanish, RS, History, Classics, Art, Drama, PE and Geography. All Upper School pupils take part in 3 x 1.5 hour sessions of sport or outdoor education each week.
