Sarah Sadler

Sarah gained a degree in Business Management and History from Leeds University in 2005 and moved to Scotland to complete a PGCE in Primary Education.

Sarah has a distinguished career in education and training including working for 6 years in Primary Education were she was lead teacher for several subjects including Sport and Curriculum for Excellence.

In 2011, Sarah moved into higher education, lecturing across education and business portfolios. During this time, Sarah took a special interest in the provision of quality education and safeguarding which led her to accept a role as the Quality Assurance Manager and Designated Safeguarding Officer for QTS Global, a national training company.

Her next career move saw Sarah take up the role as Quality Assurance Manager and Educational Specialist for National Skills Academy, responsible for the north of England and Scotland. Alongside this role, Sarah provides freelance training and support to the largest academy trust in England.

Sarah believes passionately in the need to safeguard the welfare of all students and after lecturing in the subject and working as a designated safeguarding officer, in 2016, accepted a role as an independent lay member of the North Yorkshire Safeguarding Board, now the North Yorkshire Safeguarding Children Partnership.

Alongside working, Sarah has sat on a variety of boards including nurseries, schools and businesses and has extensive experience and knowledge throughout the education system. Sarah currently has two children at Cundall and is looking forward to helping the school with the next phase of its exciting journey.
