Fees are payable by ten monthly direct debit payments to commence in August.  A minimum of one term’s notice in writing must be given for a pupil’s withdrawal from the school.  Full fees will be charged in lieu of this notice. Schedule of fees below are on a termly basis.

Early Years Funding – Government Funding is available for some 3-4 year olds, information will be provided where applicable.


Sibling Discount – 5% for second child, 20% for third child and 35% for any subsequent siblings in Reception and above

Forces Discount – 12% for children in Reception and above (Families who receive a Forces Award are not eligible for a sibling discount)

Annual Contribution – This covers the cost of most trips throughout the academic year and is billed termly.

Reception – Year 2 – £150

Year 3 – Year 8 – £180

Year 9 – Year 11 – £210

Occasional Boarding – £35 per night

Please note that once a boarding place has been booked, the fee will be charged for the whole term irrespective of whether the place is taken.

School Bus – We currently have seven bus runs:

A19 run to Cleveland Tontine; A1 run to Wetherby; A61 run to Ripley; Northallerton run to Lees Lane; Masham run; Easingwold run; A167 to Great Smeaton

One Way – £190 per term

Both Ways – £360 per term

Occasional Use – £6.50 per journey

Please note that priority for places on the bus is given to termly users.  Once an occasional or termly place has been booked the charge will be made for the whole term irrespective of whether the place is taken.

 Extra Tuition – £220 per term for a weekly lesson

Individual Music/Drama Tuition  £15 per ½ hour lesson

Compulsory Form Trips 16/17

Each year, a number of compulsory trips take place. These are listed below by year group. These will be added to your termly fee invoice, and the balance (if applicable) will be added to the Lent term extras bill. Please note the fee listed is for 2015/16 and is a guide only.

Duke of Edinburgh Award – The Duke of Edinburgh Award is compulsory for pupils in Leckby (Year 9) & Eldmire (Year 10) and optional for pupils in Thornton (Year 11).  The termly cost is £50.00.

Consumables & Exam Fees – Senior pupils will be charged for those text books which are to be annotated as part of the pupils’ studies.  Pupils will also be charged examination board fees.

Registration Fee
A one-time, non-refundable application fee of £200 per child is required upon registration.
