Getting the chance to catch up with friends while conducting some important fund-raising is one of the main reasons the Ladies Lunch is always so popular with the Friends of Cundall Manor.

Parents of pupils from the leading North Yorkshire independent School gathered at the Crown Inn at Roecliffe to enjoy some wonderful food and listen to guest speaker, Rachel Fortune.

Chair of the Friends of Cundall, Susan Edwards, said: “Myself and the Friends Committee would like to thank everyone who attended the Cundall Ladies Lunch at the Crown Inn, at Roecliffe.”

“The food, venue and guest speaker, Rachel Fortune, were fantastic. A special thank you to Karl and Amanda Mainey for having us and to everyone who helped make the event such a success.”

The Cundall Ball Committee are delighted to announce that tickets for the Cundall Ball 2016 are now available to order. This is without doubt the highlight of the Cundall social calendar and is definitely not to be missed.

Click here to access booking forms for tables and individual tickets, as well as the opportunity to order wine for your table. Just print off the booking forms and hand them into the school office along with a cheque to cover the tickets you have ordered along with any wine requirements. The Cundall Summer Ball is a magnificent event and a fantastic party bringing together the whole of the Cundall community; Parents, Teachers and Governors in celebration of another amazing year and all that is ‘Cundall’. It is the Cundall community as a whole that creates a very special, nurturing environment in which all of our children grow, learn and thrive and as Parents we have a vital role play within that community.

Friends of Cundall Manor Ladies’ Lunch

Chair of the Friends, Mrs Susan Edwards, would like to pass on her sincere thanks to everyone who came to the Ladies’ Lunch at Swinton Park last month. It really was a superb occasion. Thank you to sponsor Suzy Hart whose flower arrangements made the dining room look incredible, and to Dr Clare McGuire who, as a truly inspirational speaker, touched every one of the guests with her story. The event raised a lot of money which, as ever, the Friends will put towards purchasing new equipment for the school. The luncheon would not have been possible without the support of so many dedicated and generous parents so thank you again to everyone involved.
