Cundall Manor School provides a learning environment for several hundred children, each one very individual in their need and approaches to learning. It’s one of our unique characteristics that each and every teacher and classroom assistant goes to extraordinary lengths to understand the idiosyncrasies of each and every one of their pupils and to deliver teaching opportunities that suit their individual learning styles. Where a particular pupil’s needs cannot be fully met within the classroom, we draw upon the expertise, assistance and resources of our excellent Learning Support Department.
Our Learning Support staff work with teaching and pastoral staff, outside agencies, parents and of course the pupil, to make provision for their needs either in class or, where necessary, on a one to one basis. The Learning Support Staff have an unrivalled record of assisting pupils to overcome their particular barriers to learning and to achieve real and remarkable academic success.
Those children identified as Gifted and Talented also have targeted provision both within the classroom and through one-to-one and group acceleration activities.
