Claire Burrows
Claire Burrows was educated at Queen Mary’s School and Ripon Grammar School before obtaining her BA (Hons) in English Literature at the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. She subsequently completed a Graduate Diploma in Law at Northumbria University and the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in York, before commencing a legal training contract at DLA Piper UK LLP. She qualified as a Solicitor of the Courts of England and Wales in 2012. Claire is now a specialist regulatory compliance lawyer and Partner at Brabners LLP in Leeds. She has particular expertise in health and safety, environment, food safety, medical device regulation, Coronial Law and anti-bribery legislation. She regularly acts in complex regulatory investigations and is an experienced advocate who has appeared on numerous occasions in the Magistrates and Coroners Courts.
