International Boarders
Cundall manor is a warm and friendly boarding school that welcomes boarders from around the world. We are a small boarding school where children thrive and live side by side enjoying a fulfilling school curriculum and boarding activity programme. We have two boarding houses, for boys and for girls.
We are proud of the cultural diversity of our school and while we are a UK school we welcome international pupils to benefit from our British curriculum from ages 11 – 16.
International students are usually full termly boarders who immerse themselves in Cundall to improve their English and experience a different culture. We provide study for GCSE qualifications and our international students go on to study A Levels at larger boarding schools in preparation for entry to the top UK Universities. International pupils leave Cundall at 16 for Ampleforth College, Oundle, Harrow, Eton, and Durham School, to name a few.
We work with international educational agents from across the globe who introduce us to families looking for a safe and happy boarding school that can be found here in North Yorkshire as well as families who enquire directly to us through our website.
INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARS
Cundall is proud to offer an international scholars programme which supports our international pupils who have exceptional skills and talents in the following areas: Arts, Music, Sport and Academic. The benefits are:

APPLICATION PROCESS
As we are a full English speaking school and all of our lessons are conducted in English we ask that our international boarders have an appropriate level of English for the year group they will be joining. We ask all applicants to partake in a CAT4 test that should allow us to assess any extra English support that will be needed. All non EU students must have a guardian in the UK (we can assist with this).
We welcome international boarders for termly boarding experiences as well as yearly. Some boarders join us for two terms and become part of our school family for many years!

我想我是Cundall有史以来的第⼀个中国籍学⽣，我⾮常喜欢我在那⼉度过的时光。学校⾮常的友 好，⽼师们似乎有⽤不完的时间来帮助我，甚⾄校⻓都会每周两个早上在他的办公室听我朗读报刊以帮助 我的英语语法。那是⾮常快乐的两年。 中学毕业后我去了Uppingham 学校，然后考⼊约克⼤学学习数学，尔后雷丁⼤学⻝品科学学⼠学 位。 我现在是新⻄兰的⼀名职业⽹球教练，业余时间我是⼀个重⾦属乐队的主唱。⽣活太美好了。
