MEET CLARISSE
Clarisse is our new House parent, along with her partner Alex and their much-loved Labradoodle, Winnie.
Clarisse brings with her a wealth of experience. She is passionate about creating a true “home from home” for pupils, getting to know each student individually, and building a vibrant, supportive community.
“What I love most about boarding is the chance to create a welcoming environment where students feel at home. I’ve enjoyed organising everything from city weekend breaks for international students to local evening activities – it’s so rewarding to see students relax, laugh, and spend time together outside the classroom. I can’t wait to bring this same energy to Cundall.
Outside of school life, I enjoy playing competitive netball, training in the gym, and exploring the outdoors with Winnie. Winnie, my four-year-old Labradoodle, is very much part of boarding life and adores being around students – she’s always happy to join a walk or share a cuddle. My partner Alex and I also love musical theatre, tackling escape rooms, and visiting new cities together.
We cannot wait to meet you all.”

Housed in the historic Manor House, our boarding facilities offer comfort and character. With 30 beds across two floors and 8 spacious, en-suite bedrooms, boarders enjoy both privacy and shared living in a warm, welcoming environment.
A shared common room provides the perfect space to relax with friends — whether it’s movie night, a game of pool, or just catching up after a busy day.
Our fortnightly activity programme is packed with variety, always featuring a regular “Super Social” such as ice skating, bowling trips or pizza nights. Other favourites include baking sessions, craft evenings and sports events — ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
