Chris Pollitt
Chris grew up in North Yorkshire and was educated at Ermysted’s Grammar School, Skipton before gaining a degree in Economics and Management at Worcester College, Oxford. He began his teaching career in 2008 at St. Edward’s School, Oxford, before joining Harrow School in 2012 as Head of Economics, the largest A-level department at the School. In 2019 he was appointed to be House Master of The Head Master’s House, taking on the responsibility of overseeing and supporting the welfare and progress of the 70 full-time boarders in his House, aged 13-18. He is also heavily involved in the School’s admissions process. During his time at Harrow, he has been a member of the School’s Academic Advisory Committee and has coached football and athletics. He is also a keen musician and linguist.
