Art Scholars

Art Scholars will work across various disciplines, including sculpture, painting, ceramics, drawing, printing, and textiles. Pupils will work both individually and collaboratively, creating a portfolio of their work.

Arts & Crafts

Explore a variety of artistic mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpting, and mixed media, while working on exciting and imaginative projects.

Board Games

Encourages critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity through board games such as Chess and Monopoly.

Camping Skills

Learn essential outdoor skills like setting up tents, building campfires, and navigating the wilderness.

Ceramics

Create unique ceramic sculptures, learning techniques such as hand-building and moulding. Pieces will be fired in the kiln before being glazed to add color and texture.

Chicken Keeping

Learn the joys of caring for chickens. Discover everything from feeding and cleaning to understanding chicken behaviour and the different breeds of chickens and the eggs they lay. Gain valuable knowledge about animal care with hands on experience with our flock of chickens.

Coding

Work with algorithms across various software applications, such as Code For Life, Scratch, and SketchUp, to build games, create animations, and develop innovative solutions. Use CAD programs to design unique environments.

Cooking

This club offers hands-on instruction in preparing different dishes, helping pupils develop their culinary skills and a variety of cooking techniques. All ingredients are provided.

Croquet

Learn and refine your skills in croquet. Through guided play and strategic practice, develop precision, strategy, and sportsmanship while enjoying this classic outdoor sport.

Cricket Academy

The focus will be on skills development and improved match play. Suitable for intermediate and advanced players – not beginners

Design Film/ Book Cover Art

Explore genre trends in books and film cover art and design your own. Analysing motifs, imagery, and colour choices to uncover hidden storytelling cues.

Entreprise Club

Turn your entrepreneurial ideas into reality. Learn the essentials of setting up a business, from developing a product or service to marketing it to the right audience. Gain hands-on experience in business planning, branding, and sales strategies while working on exciting real-world projects. (Years 7 – 10)

Field Athletics

Improve your strength, speed, and technique. Learn and practice events like long jump, high jump, shot put, discus. Whether you’re a beginner or an aspiring athlete, this club will help you develop your skills and confidence.

Gardening

Cultivate vegetable patches and flower beds, plant pots, hanging baskets and bulbs to enhance the school environment.  Gain practical knowledge in planting, soil care, and sustainable gardening, plant cycles, natural pest control, and composting.

Golf*

This enrichment will take place at Easingwold Golf Club. The programme will run for 6 weeks and will cover all aspects of the game from initial set up, through to the short and long game. The club’s PGA professionals, who have a wealth of experience within junior development, will run the sessions.

Jesmonite

An alternative medium to ceramics that can be manipulated into different items coasters, jewellery, storage boxes.

Judo*

Learn the fundamentals of judo, including throws, holds, and falls. The club focuses on developing physical strength, coordination, and discipline while promoting respect and self-confidence.

Lego Master Builders

Construct impressive designs using LEGO bricks while following a set brief and working within time constraints. Each challenge encourages innovation, teamwork, and strategic thinking to see which creation achieves the best outcome.

Mindfullness

Carve some time out within the school day to maintain equilibrium: immerse yourself in the world of good novel; destress with some mindful colouring; join some epic dots… No schoolwork allowed; only calming vibes allowed in this library!

Musical Theatre

Develop your vocal range, learn new choreography, and build confidence on stage. Performing hit songs from Wicked, The Greatest Showman,Matilda, and more!

Netball

Develop your skills and enjoy the game. Our sessions focus on improving passing, shooting, footwork, and match play.

Cundall Pony Club

Weekly riding at Bridge End Equestrian. Session includes stable care and riding lesson.

Quiz Club

Fun, fast-paced trivia challenges covering a wide range of topics. Work in teams, compete in exciting quiz rounds, and sharpen your general knowledge.

Senior School Production

Join us for rehearsals as we bring “Mr Bruin Who Once Drove The Bus” by Don Haworth to life on stage. Whether you want to act, help with set design, or support behind the scenes, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a creative and fun school production.
