Cundall Manor School pupils enjoyed a recent trip to see Mary Poppins at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle.
The critically acclaimed show was witnessed by a host of youngsters from the local leading independent school as ahead of a series of upcoming drama performances.
Head of Drama, Liz Vile, organised the trip. She said: “The trip was a wonderful opportunity to see a classic performance that brings together all ages.”

The well-known story of the world’s favourite Nanny arriving on Cherry Tree Lane has been brought to the stage with incredible effects, toe-tapping choreography, and unforgettable songs.
William, aged 11 from Easingwold, said: “The show was amazing. It was very humorous, loud and funny. Overall it was great!”
