Charity Fun Run

As part of the school’s commitment to support great causes we are holding a ‘Fancy Dress Charity Fun
Run’ in aid of The Magnolia Centre in York on Monday 9th February 2026. The Magnolia Centre in
York, is a local charity that offers support and care for anyone affected by a cancer diagnosis.
This event will be for all pupils from Reception to Swale. It would be fantastic if pupils could raise
sponsorship over the Christmas Holidays as part of this event. Our online fundraising page is live HERE

Last year we raised over £1000 for the York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity, an incredible
achievement in itself. Let’s try and surpass that target in 2026 for The Magnolia Centre, please
remember to gift aid all donations if you are eligible to do so.
Parents are welcome to come and support the children during the afternoon. The race will take place
at 2.30 pm for Reception – Year 2 and 2:40pm for Years 3-Swale.

The fancy dress will have no specific theme, however, do consider the possible weather conditions on
the day, and your child’s choice of costume.
