Cracking Display in Easter Egg Competition

Pupils at Cundall Manor School have been displaying their egg-citing art skills as they competed for the top prize in an Easter egg-stravaganza.
Youngsters from Pre-prep and main school showed off their creative works to a team of judges with some stunning displays which included
Head of Pre-prep, Kathryn Creed said: “The entries amaze us! They are ingenious in their humour and creativity.”
Mrs Creed added: “Thank you so much to children and parents for making us smile so much.”
There were two categories for the competition. There was a tie for first place in the Pre-Prep category with Jack and Emily claiming joint top prize for their creative ‘egg-ploits’.
Runners up prizes belonged to Henry with his space themed creation and George who made a colourful dragon.
In the other category, top prize was claimed by Harry and Katy for the Angry Birds inspired entry while Cecily Ruddy finished runner up.
Paul Swalwell, Marketing Manager for Cundall Manor School, helped judge the competition. He said: “It was very ‘egg-citing’ to see how much the children enjoyed the competition. They should all be very proud of themselves.”
The winner was announced in assembly on Friday 18 March by Head Teachers, Mrs Kirby and Mr Sample.
