An exciting new parent and baby class is being launched in North Yorkshire.
The Baby Explore class, run by Cundall Manor School near Topcliffe in North Yorkshire, will start in September.
The FREE class will allow babies and their parents the opportunity to bond and explore the senses through listening and making music, light activities, exercise and much more. The sessions will take place on a Friday morning in the school’s dedicated Nursery.
Nursery Teacher, Jennifer Abbott, will lead the sessions. She said: “The classes are a fun way for local parents to bond with their baby. The hour sessions are suitable from birth to 36 months.”
“We wanted to do something different and allow current and prospective parents’ with younger children to come and use the space and offer something that may not be easily accessible to everyone.”
The sessions will be based around free flow activities to allow babies and toddlers a chance to engage in a range of sensory play and explore our Nursery setting. There will also be an opportunity to join in with a teacher led circle time to enjoy in singing, music making, sensory activities and much more.
Sessions will begin on Friday 16th September and last from 10.30am – 11.30am, running throughout the term.
