It’s a Pitch Perfect Result for Cundall Musicians
It is a resounding success for young Cundall Manor musicians who have received fantastic feedback on their Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) examinations.
The musicians secured a 100% pass rate across a variety of specialisms and grades.
The ABRSM results mark the culmination of many months’ work for the school’s pupils.
Wendy Ford, Director of Music at Cundall Manor School, said: “It is fabulous to see such a variety of instruments being played to such a high standard.
“I would like to say many congratulations to our musicians who were all successful in their Music exams at the end of last term. Once again, we had 100% pass rate and some excellent results. A special mention should go to our two Double Bass players as this is exceptionally rare!”
The twelve pupils gathered in the school’s music studio to receive their certificates.
Most of the pupils at Cundall Manor School take extra music lessons in either an instrument or singing and the ABRSM is a chance to gain recognition for all their hard work.
Many of the school’s pupils will next be performing at the prestigious Stowe School.
Wendy added: “Most of our choristers will be performing at Stowe School singing Choral Evensong with the Stowe Chapel Choir.”
