Richard Little
Richard grew up in Sutton Coldfield and studied at Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School before moving to the University of Manchester where he graduated with a degree in economics and finance. Richard trained as a chartered accountant and tax adviser with KPMG in Manchester, was promoted to partner in 2005 and relocated to Yorkshire in 2008. He advised a range of UK and global businesses, with a particular focus on the financial services sector leading the team advising financial services clients across the nations and regions of the UK. After 29 years with KPMG Richard retired from the firm in 2022.
Richard lives in Great Ouseburn with his wife Jayne, and their two children Ed and Annie. Annie is currently studying at Cundall and Ed received his GCSEs from Cundall 2024. He is the treasurer of Ouseburn Cricket Club and a director of the Resurrected Bites charity in Harrogate. With a little more free time post-KPMG Richard is enjoying playing golf, tennis and padel, and attending sporting events around the UK.
