Game, set and match at Cundall

On Saturday, the first Cundall Manor School family tennis tournament took place. We had a fantastic showing with 21 couples taking part. The strawberries and cream went down well and the adults enjoyed a glass of a Wimbledon associated refreshments in between matches. After lots of good, competitive tennis the final was contested by Lorna and Sam Earley against Jonty and Amanda Mainey. It was a close match but the Earley’s managed to come through the final and deciding game to win the cup!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated or cheered on our competitors. Here is to looking forward to next year’s event.
