Thank You from the Cundall Ball Committee

We are all taught from an early age that saying thank you is important, and following a significant donation from the Cundall Ball Committee, pupils, staff and the Cundall Ball committee are all joining together to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported The Cundall Manor Summer Ball 2018.

A significant donation with money raised from this year’s Cundall Ball has been used to help finance IT development across the curriculum with new interactive whiteboards and chromebooks being added to the growing IT infrastructure.

The Cundall Ball committee members were on hand earlier this week to see the impact new IT equipment is having on the learning experiences at the local school.

Chair of the Cundall Ball committee, Rachel Powell said: “We would all like to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported the Cundall Ball last year.”

“It is a great team effort and huge recognition must go to the generosity of our wonderful sponsors who donate the most fantastic prizes year after year along with the kindness of our parents and guests who come along and support the evening.”

“The money you all raised will have a direct impact on the learning experiences of all the pupils at Cundall Manor and it is great to see them already reaping the rewards.”

“ICT skills will only play a larger part in the development of the economies of the future and to witness the development of the school’s use of new technologies is a great benefit to all.”

The ongoing development of the school’s IT infrastructure comes hot-on-the-heels of a further investment to secure super-fast broadband for the rural school.
